Vizio TV problems

There are many Vizio TV problems that have been noticed by thousands of customers in recent years. The unfortunate thing is that many people do not know how to handle those problems until things get out of hand, in addition to the fact that having the problems rectified can cost thousands of dollars, which always discourages people in going ahead with any repair.

Many people always prefer to buy a new LED or LCD television of another brand name. Before discussing the different Vizio TV problems, it is important to consider the interesting features you enjoy when the television is new.

There are almost 100 LED and LCD models of Vizio TV on sale today. You will always find them in different sizes ranging from 19 to 55 inches, also at affordable prices. They are very good for the family room, bedroom, media room, or as a flat panel, and you will always have a very good color display, resolution and contrast. In addition to all those features, you will have sharp and accurate images and fluid motion and blur-free images.

The Vizio TV also has a built-in ATSC tuner, especially found in the VX32L model, which makes it possible for you to have the over-the-air channels tuned as you have the antenna added. With the aid of the QAM tuner, you can also receive digital cable channels, enabling you to watch your HDTV channels without interruption. For those who love flexibility, the television also has picture-in-picture with different combinations, in addition to the freeze-frame option.

It is not yet party time. There are many Vizio TV problems that can make all those features mentioned above to be useless. These are some of the problems:

Not switching on – this has been noticed as one of the Vizio TV problems that do come up after some months of use. The problem that is experienced in more than 60% of cases is that the Vizio TV will suddenly fail to switch on. Initially, you would think that the issue had to do with your own connection to the electricity circuit, but after checking all other things connected, you would discover that the problem had to do with the television. The annoying thing is that the power indicator at the front of the television would flash white as if put ON and functioning properly. With this problem, the definition just would refuse to switch on; you would hear no sound and you would see no picture. To many customers, this has been frustrating.

Sound but no picture – concerning Vizio TV problems, you would also discover that sometimes, there would be sound, but no picture would be seen. This also happens after some months or years of use of the TV, and it has been discovered to be a major problem with the VIZIO VW42L FHDTV10A. To many users, this problem should not be happening because a TV that is just few months old should not be developing a major problem like this.

Green or bluish lines on the Vizio TV screen – Sometimes, greenish or bluish lines appear on the screen of the Vizio TV. You should not even be surprised if this problem comes up after only 2 weeks of use. The other problems mentioned above start showing up after many months of use. But this one is different, as it can show up anytime from the first day of the TV getting to your home. The bluish or greenish line runs from top to bottom on the side of the screen, but might disappear after unplugging. After some time, you might see the line disappearing and when the problem comes up again, there might be multiple ones.

Half of the screen changing colors – another problem is that you might have a half of the TV screen changing colors. This is a common problem with the 46″ Vizio TV. You would find this problem when turned on, and it would be like that for up to 30 minutes. The colors range from light to dark-brown from right to left.

Those are some of the Vizio TV problems and it is unfortunate that the manufacturer is not doing much to solve them. You would notice that most of the problems always happen after the expiry of the warranty, meaning that the repair is your sole responsibility. In addition, the manufacturer considers the television that has been used for more than a year to be “old”. According to the thousands of users facing this problem, this is a claim that is not acceptable. Therefore, you need to be aware of these problems before you buy any Vizio TV.
